







Madeira Place is a luxury beach condominium that can be rented weekly or monthly. Located Southwest of Tampa, North of St. Petersburg, South of Clearwater, and across the street from the Gulf and beautiful white sand beaches. In the heart of Madeira Beach, one of that area's most popular beach communities near Treasure Island and Indian Rocks. An easy half mile walk to famous John's Pass Village with its many restaurants, retail shops, day cruise ships, charter boats and gambling cruise ships. Other major Florida attractions (Disney and Sea World, Universal Studios in Orlando) are less than 90 minutes away.
Our fully equipped, central air conditioned, heated and fully furnished condo is just steps from the white sand beaches. Our location on the second floor of this four story building offers free parking and easy access to the elevator. The lanai offers Gulf views for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The complex's large heated swimming pool and recently resurfaced deck area will be enjoyed by our guests. There is a shared charcoal BBQ grill just next to the pool.
We are glad to announce that the complex now offers free wireless internet access in case you want to bring your laptop to stay in touch with business needs or surf the internet during your stay. Our one bedroom, one and a half bath remodeled and updated condo offers a large kitchen with dishwasher, disposal, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, new furnishings within the cabinets. Televisions in the living room and bedroom offer cable TV selections. There is also a DVD player in the living room. The master suite is approximately 12 by 15 with Berber carpeting and offers two comfortable double beds, a walk in closet and a full bathroom with tub and shower. The dining area offers table seating for four and a breakfast bar that seats two. The half bath by the entrance offers a new stack washer and dryer for your convenience. There is also an on-site laundry facility in the pool building.
Madeira Beach is located between Clearwater and St. Petersburg Beach near Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The locals like to call it the island that is “two miles long and a smile wide.” Local public beaches include Archibald Beach Park, Bicentennial Park, County Park, Tom & Kitty Stuart Park (just across the street) and John’s Pass. You may not need to use your car with the trolley system and public transit bus system. We are walking distance to John's Pass! Years ago, Madeira Beach became a popular hangout of the young from across the bay in Tampa who nicknamed it "Mad Beach." Obviously, it was a fun place. Then the condos came to roost and the fun became harder to find. Yet the area still held a special charm despite the crowded development and its popularity never wavered. It just that its tourists now are more likely to come from across the ocean or Canadian border than across the bay.
John's Pass Beach, Park and Village: Nearby John's Pass is a favored fishing location. Nearly 500 feet of beachfront is accessed by dune walkovers, but no lifeguards are on duty. John's Pass Village is a collection of specialty shops, a hodgepodge of not-so-cheap souvenir shops, boat and waverunner rentals, fishing tours and restaurants. This is a popular destination of locals and tourists alike. It is situated across the street from the Gulf just north of John's Pass bridge along the intercoastal waterway.
